1950 at first, Paul Dreiner, the founder of the company, began to distribute screwdrivers in a small garage. Then he produced screwdrivers in different types.
1958 the first move to another location with bigger premises has been effected. The product range of ?screwdrivers? has been extended by spanners.
1968 the location in Remscheid has been finished and the product range has been increased again.
1996 the company TIREM Werkzeugfabrik has been taken over and added to padre-Werkzeugfabrik as a sister company. Our tool assortment has been completed by hand striking tools under the brand ?TIREM?.
1997 the company BENSCHEIDT has been also taken over by ?TIREM?. So we have been starting the production of inserting tools for electric-, pneumatic- and hydraulic-hammers. At the same time we have obtained the licence from BOSCH Company for SDS-Plus and SDS-MAX Chisels.
2000 After several extensions padre has got a modern production and a big stock of finished goods. Since that time padre has been belonging to the leading tools manufacturers in Germany.
2001 the sister companies padre Werkzeugfabrik and TIREM Werkzeugfabrikation have been fused to company padre-TIREM Werkzeufabrikation Dreiner GmbH & Co. KG.
2002-2003 The production of padre and TIREM has been centralised and modernised.
2004 The new logistic centre has been established. All tools of padre, TIREM and BENSCHEIDT are available at one place.
2005 The business activities of Remscheid?s companies CEDER and ZANGENMANN have been taken over. By this step we have become an original manufacturer for metal shears and bolt cutters as well.
2007 padre-TIREM Werkzeugfabrikation relocates its domicile with management, production and warehouse to Wermelskirchen-Tente.
2011 We have begun a new start under the name of Paul Dreiner Verwaltungs UG
(haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG in July 2011. The delivery programme remains nearly
constant – but since that point of time we have been supplying only tools branded
Now all brands are combined in a new designed catalogue with different tool programmes.
